A preliminary report on introduction of tea cultivar Zhenong-117

Abstract: Cutting plants of tea cultivar Zhejnong-117 were introduced from Xinchang Zhedong Tea Propagation Base and planted in Yongkang City. It showed that the Zhenong-117 had properties of early flushing in the spring season, strong tea shoots suitable for processing flat-type famous green teas, good taste and strong hardness to frost.
